Holographic Fireplaces - FAQs

We regularly receive questions about our holographic fireplaces. We would like to introduce you to the most common topics.

Benefits of a holographic fireplace

Holographic fireplaces offer several advantages. They are maintenance-free, easy to install and use, do not require a chimney, and offer the flexibility to control the flame pattern and heating independently. They are also safe and environmentally friendly, also known as NetZero, as they produce no harmful emissions. Our Kalfire E-one is therefore characterised by the slogan: zero emissions, infinite possibilities. While gas and wood fires have some limitations in terms of emissions and installation possibilities, the Kalfire E-one hologram fire can be installed literally anywhere. All with an unprecedented realistic fire experience, thanks to the 3D holograms projected onto the logs. You have to see it to believe it!

How do you install a holographic fireplace?

Installing a holographic fireplace is a popular choice for those looking for a sleek, modern look. To do this, you first need to determine the right location and provide the necessary electrical connection. A common location is under the TV to create the cinewall effect. However, with our E-one series holographic fireplaces, you can let your creativity run wild in terms of installation options. In the bedroom, on a boat, in a restaurant, in the penthouse, in an apartment, in a hotel lobby or room: our E-one has an infinite number of installation positions. Please note: the conversion or fireplace and the correct installation of our E-one also require specialist knowledge. We therefore always recommend having the installation carried out by a dealer.

Hologram fireplace vs. gas fireplace?

The choice between a hologram fireplace and a gas fireplace depends on your needs and preferences. Electric fireplaces are generally easier to install and do not require a gas connection, which opens up a world of possibilities for holographic fireplaces. They also offer greater design freedom and are more environmentally friendly. Gas fireplaces, on the other hand, offer instant heat and a real flame, but require a chimney and a gas (or propane) connection. Both our electric and gas fireplaces imitate a real fire as realistically as possible. Our Kalfire E-one hologram fireplace, with heating (Atmos Heating), has a power output of 2 kW (2000 watts), providing atmospheric heat. Depending on the type, our gas fireplaces have a much higher output and can therefore be used as supplementary heating, for example in addition to underfloor heating. Our Gi gas fireplaces, for example, have a power output of between 1.9 kW and 6.9 kW.

Hologram fire or wood fire?

Hologram fireplaces are cleaner and easier to maintain than wood-burning fireplaces. They provide atmospheric heat and do not require a wood supply or a chimney. In addition, with an E-one hologram fireplace, you don't have to worry about the environment or installation regulations. Wood-burning fireplaces, on the other hand, offer an authentic fire experience and require more labour and maintenance, an aspect that is of course no problem for the handyman. While E-one hologram fireplaces represent freedom and longevity, our wood-burning fireplaces represent authenticity and fire in its purest form. The choice between the two depends on your preferences in terms of comfort and aesthetics.

Holographic fireplace under the TV

A holographic fireplace under the TV is also known as a cinewall. The E-one electric fireplace has a consumption of 110 watts, similar to that of an average television. The 3D hologram effect under the television is a real eye-catcher in the living room. The E-one is available in different versions, so you can match the fireplace to your television.
