NEST – Automatic Freestanding Fireplace with Star Burner | Planika
NEST is a designer freestanding fireplace created to be the absolute focal point of any room. Its distinctive fluted casing creates a strong and refined visual presence, with delicate vertical lines that interact with light and add depth to its form. The fireplace works equally well in private residential settings and carefully designed commercial spaces.
At the heart of the fireplace is the star burner: a tall, three-dimensional, dynamic flame that immediately captures attention, creating atmosphere and warmth in a completely natural way. The glass enclosure stabilizes the flame, ensuring 360° visibility – the fire is visible from every angle of the room, with all its intensity and movement.
NEST is equipped with patented BEV® technology (Burning Ethanol Vapours), which burns bioethanol vapors rather than the liquid fuel directly. The result is a clean, natural flame, without smoke, odor, or ash. The combustion process produces only water vapor and a minimal amount of CO₂. Thanks to this advanced system, no chimney is required, offering total installation freedom: NEST is suitable for private homes, city apartments, hotels, and commercial spaces.
The fireplace is controlled via an integrated touch panel, remote control, mobile app, or Smart Home systems. You can turn the fireplace on and off, adjust the flame intensity to 6 levels, and monitor the fuel level conveniently from a distance. The automatic refueling system always maintains the correct level of bioethanol in the tank, eliminating any need for manual monitoring.
The tank has a capacity of 9.0 liters with a maximum burning time of 11 hours and a maximum heat output of 10.9 kW. The fuel used is 95–96.6% bioethanol. The fireplace is made of steel, galvanized steel, and glass, with a black powder-coated finish. It requires a 230 V power supply and is intended exclusively for indoor use. The minimum recommended room volume is 109 m³.
