Gas Fireplaces

A fire pit table is a table with a built-in gas fireplace and is the ideal heat source for the garden. Fire pit tables are made of wood, but also of composite material and aluminium. They provide a cosy fire and wonderful warmth in no time at all and are great to combine with a drink.

Other advantages of a fire pit table are:

• Quick and easy to use
• You can easily place refreshments on the table
• Provides an atmospheric fire without smoke or sparks
• Remains beautiful for years without needing maintenance, especially if you put a protective cover on it in winter.

• Fire pit tables create a lot of atmosphere in the garden, but since you are dealing with fire and gas, some caution is required. Therefore, consider these aspects when using them:
• Ensure the fire pit table is a safe distance from flammable materials, pets, and children.
• Ensure the fire pit table is assembled according to the instructions.
• Before use, ensure that the gas cylinder connections are not loose.
• Never leave an open flame unattended.
• In case of a gas leak, turn off the cylinder or the natural gas supply valve.
• Move the hose away from the fire pit and ensure it is not kinked. Do not allow the hose to come into contact with the hot surface.
• Never move the table when it is in use.
• Turn off the gas supply after use.
• Do not touch the ceramic log until it has cooled down.
• NEVER lay the gas cylinder on its side; always place it upright. This prevents gas from escaping the cylinder in liquid form. Otherwise, the risk of a potentially fatal jet of flame is very high.

As already mentioned, a gas fire pit table is very easy to use. Therefore, you can enjoy it in no time. How do you light it? Just like your gas hob. First, open the gas cylinder and press the gas knob. Then turn the gas knob and simultaneously press the electric igniter. At this point, the fire starts to burn, and you can sit back and relax.
